Allison's great Soccer Game

Wow, what a wonderful morning. Praise the Lord. Sun was shining, breeze was blowing, and there was a great Soccer game for the Blue Angels. It was such a joy to see Allison's team play the best game. Every game is awesome, but today was AMAZING!! True passion! We played a good team with great talent. However, we have a TERRIFIC team with MAGNIFICANT talent. The Blue Angels Shined today. I was so proud of every single one of our team players. It was exciting to see every single member play their role 110% - the passing, the blocking, the defense, the offense, the goalie... all together... it was the best true "team" playing I have ever seen. Everybody was doing their job in their position and as a "team" member, as well as encouraging the one another. Then, on the side lines, there was so much joy and excitement. I felt like we were one big happy loving family! It reminds me of the body of Christ, how we all should do our part 110%, and encourage each other, and then, also cheer each other on in love. Thank you Blue Angels, Coach Tipton, and Coach Chandler, and thank you family of fans! Way to Victory 4-0.

You shall rejoice in all the good which the Lord your God has given you and your household. Deuteronomy 26:11

Fishing Spring Break 2009

Spring Break 2009

This year for spring break we decided to go on a camping trip. Wow, was it amazing. Texas has some really nice state parks. We went to a place called Cooper Lake about 90 miles northeast of Dallas. So close, yet so far away. Seeing God's beauty through the outdoors always moves me. The sunsets on the beautiful lake, the walk with family on the nature trails, sitting on the shore listening to the birds and the wind, while fishing, and most of all just being with my wonderful husband and sweet daughters. I would like to encourage everyone, even if you don't like staying in a tent, to take a day trip to a nearby state park with your family and just enjoy! Genesis 1:31a - God saw all that he made, and it was very good.
